You reach within the moonblade and draw upon its power, becoming a deadly force on the battlefield. As a free action on the turn you cast this spell, you can make one melee weapon attack with the moonblade used as the spell's material component. On a hit, the attack deals an additional 9d4 radiant damage.

For the duration, you gain a number of additional benefits up to the number of runes on the moonblade used as the spell's material component. You can choose from the following options:

  • Passive: Corellon's Moxie. You can attack twice, instead of once, when you take the Attack action on your turn. If you have the Extra Attack feature, you instead add an additional attack to those granted by that feature.
  • Passive: Sehanine's Celerity. When you move you can choose to teleport, instantly appearing in an unoccupied space rather than physically moving yourself there. Teleporting in this way still expends movement as normal.
  • Passive: Vandria's Ferocity. When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can cast a spell of 5th level or lower with a casting time of one action in place of one of your attacks. If another feature grants you the ability to cast a spell in place of an attack, you cannot use that feature in combination with this spell.
  • Passive: Erevan's Cunning. Creatures under the effect of one or more spells that you have cast (such as faerie fire) have vulnerability to damage from your melee weapon attacks. If you make a melee weapon attack against a creature that would otherwise have resistance to the attack's damage, the attack does its normal damage instead. A creature that would be immune to the attack's damage is unaffected by this feature.
  • Passive: Labelas' Sagacity. Whenever you use your action to cast a spell by expending a spell slot, you can make an Intelligence check (DC 15 + the level of the spell you are casting). On a success, the spell slot is not expended.
  • Action: Aerdrie's Tailwind. You cast a spell with a casting time of one action. The spell cast in this way cannot be foiled by a counterspell. Additionally, any spell attack rolls made as part of the spell's casting are made with advantage, and any saving throws it forces creatures to make are made with disadvantage. After casting a spell in this way, make a Constitution saving throw (DC 15 + the level of the spell you cast). On a failure, you gain one point of exhaustion. The spell cast in this way does not benefit from Labelas' Sagacity.
  • Bonus Action: Solonor's Flourish As a bonus action, you can cast a spell. The spell cast in this way must have a casting time of one action, and it must use a melee weapon as a material component. You can cast a spell in this way even if you use your action on your turn to cast another spell using a spell slot. You cannot cast the same spell twice in the one turn, nor can you use this feature and take the Attack action in the same turn. The spell cast in this way does not benefit from Labelas' Sagacity.

Denouement: And Thus Shall Light Pierce Shadow. When this spell ends, you may choose any number of creatures within 30 feet. Make an attack roll against each creature. A creature hit by the attack takes radiant damage equal to 9d8 + your Spellcasting ability modifier. A creature reduced to 0 hit points by this damage is engulfed in light and reduced to a thin gray ash.
