You send a mental invitation to a wizard with whom you are familiar. You can send the invitation across any distance and even to other planes of existence, but if the target is on a different plane than you, there is a 5 percent chance that the message doesn't arrive.
If the wizard accepts, you are both transported to the demiplane of the Basilica Arcana, an ancient meeting place for wizards. If they refuse (or fail to receive) the invitation, the spell fails.
Time passes in the Basilica at the same rate as on the Material Plane. The Basilica is warded against all divination magic, those within it can't be targeted by such magic or perceived through magical scrying sensors. This spell cannot be cast while within the Basilica.
The spell can be ended early by the mutual verbal agreement of yourself and the invited wizard. When the spell ends, you are both returned to the exact location(s) from which you departed.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3 level or higher, you may invite one additional wizard for each slot level above 2. The spell will succeed so long as one other wizard accepts the invitation. The spell can still be ended early, but only by unanimous verbal agreement of the wizards affected by it.
