Voltaic Retribution

A barrier of electric energy surrounds and protects you. Any time you are hit by an attack by a creature within 30ft, a beam of crackling energy lances out towards that creature. The creature must succeed a Dexterity saving throw. It takes 1d12 lightning damage on a failed save.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the initial damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 1st.
