Wretched Balance

You wreath an ally within range with a protective magical force. For the duration of the spell after hitting a creature with a damaging spell but before dealing damage, you can choose to use your bonus action to halve the damage rolled (rounded up) and redirect the remainder of the damage as healing to the target of your Wretched Balance instead.
