Warden's Mark

One beast or object (typically a large plant) may be marked by this spell. Any creature or object marked will have a lightly glowing sigil on it that indicates the desired property.

Typically this is used to mark a tree or creature in a Forest as allowed to be harvested. It might also indicate that the fruit (only) may be freely harvested, or that the object or creature is to be left alone.

Once an object or creature has been harvested (i.e. cut down or killed) the mark is dispelled. However, anyone performing a successful arcane check on any resulting pieces, such as firewood cut from a marked tree, will know what properties had been previously imposed.
