Thunder

As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a melee attack with a weapon against one creature within the weapon's range, otherwise the spell fails. On a hit, the target suffers the attack’s normal effects, and your weapon rings with thunder that is audible within 300 feet of you. The attack deals an extra 2d6 thunder damage to the target.

Additionally, if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone. The target automatically succeeds on this saving throw if the attack misses.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the thunder damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
