A billowing cloud of white smoke fills a 20-foot sphere centered on a point within range and then blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame, wreathing every creature within its area.
Each creature in it must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 4d12 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
On a failed save, the target burns for the spell's duration and the target loses any immunity or resistance to fire damage until the spell ends. A burning target sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. At the end of each of its turns, the creature repeats the saving throw. It takes 2d12 fire damage on a failed save, and the spell ends on a successful one. These magical flames can't be extinguished by nonmagical means.
The fire spreads around corners and ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
