Anchor Bolt

A beam of crackling, violet energy lances out toward a creature within range, forming a sustained arc of lightning between you and the target. Binding and restraining the target to you. Make a ranged spell attack against that creature. On a hit, the target takes 2d12 lightning damage, and on each of of the start of your turns for the duration, you can use your action to deal 2d12 lightning damage to the target automatically. Also at the start of each of your turns, you can choose to have the target make a strength saving throw. If the target fails, target can be pulled 10 ft closer and is dealt 2d6 lightning damage. On a success, nothing happenes. The target is unable to increase the distance between you and them  The spell ends if the target is ever outside the spell’s range, if it has total cover from you or if you use you action for anything else other than concentrating on the spell.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the initial damage and auto damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 2nd.
