You take parts of two creatures of the same size you wish to merge as one. Both creatures must be alive for the spell to work. If either creature is unwilling to lend parts of itself then a Wisdom saving throw must be made by both sides. Both creatures original forms are consumed as part of the transformation process
The spell can only be used on creatures Huge or smaller, and the caster determines which abilities are represented in the new creation from each animal to a maximum of 3. Once the creature is created it is friendly to you and your allies unless it is attacked or provoked by them. The hit points are determined by whichever is higher with a combined total hit point dice being no more than 1.5x than the highest amount of dice on any single creature involved.
If the spell is cast on a player they can only gain 2 of the abilities from the other creature and must make a Wisdom saving throw even if they are willing to maintain their mental capabilities. Only the physical statistics of a player will change if the spell is cast upon them.
The spell also affects the natural lifespan of the creatures involved. Some creatures may have exponentially longer lives, while others may have it cut short rapidly.
At higher levels you can add one additional creature to the combination for each level above 7th.
* - (a dragons talon and a piece of each creature you wish to merge which the spell consumes)
