You summon a creature from the void between the planes, where even magic cannot reach. Such creatures are known as Spell Eaters and they are feared across the multiverse by all manner of mages. When you cast this spell, choose a point you can see within 150ft of you. A shadowy beast of your own description appears at that point. Every spellcaster that starts their turn within 30ft of that creature must roll a d10. On a 1-9, they lose their highest level spell slot that does not exceed the number rolled on the die. On a roll of 10, the caster cannot cast spells until the start of their next turn.
This hungry spirit is too powerful to be controlled by your magic and at the start of each of your turns it moves up to 30ft towards the nearest spellcaster with spell slots (including you!). When you end your concentration, you must make a DC 15 check, using your spellcasting ability modifier. If the check fails the creature remains for the full duration, no concentration required.
