You create a set of chained shackles that can only be perceived by the target, which must be a Large or smaller creature that you can see within range. The shackles lash out at the target, which must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or it becomes grappled. The phantasm includes sound, temperature, and other stimuli, and it seems real to the target. As the target percieves the chains chaffing against their form, the creature takes 1d4 psychic damage at the start of their turn.

On its turn, the target can use its action to make an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. On a success, the target realises the chains are a phantasm, and the spell ends.
