You touch the body of a recently deceased spellcaster for the duration of the casting time (1 minute). Afterward, a pint of blood rises from the body and forms a sphere above it. For the spell to continue, you must consume the blood. The blood will be viable for consumption for the next 24 hours, after which it turns black and crumbles. Upon consumption of the blood, you gain the knowledge of one spell of a level you can cast for the next 24 hours. During this time, you can accurately copy this spell into your spellbook, following the normal rules for such an act. If the spell is not from the Wizard's spell list, you may still copy it, but you must succeed an Intelligence check of a DC equal to 14+the spell's level and consume 100g and take 1 hour of work, both per spell level. Until the 24 hours is up, you count this spell as though it were prepared and you may cast it using the appropriate spell slot.
