You target an aggressive beast within range. That creature must be able to see you. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. If the saving throw is successful the beast suffers no effects. If the beast fails the saving throw, it no longer sees you as an enemy (although it will still perceive your companions in such a manner unless you actively show that they are under your protection). This effect lasts until you end concentration on the spell. When the spell ends it is up to the DM to determine whether the beast still naturally perceives you as an enemy. If a beast under the effect of this spell is wounded by you during the course of this spells effect, the spell instantly ends.
The total number of creatures is limited by your level, and the max total CR you can calm at one time is your level divided by 4. (Level/4)
At Higher Levels: The number of targets increases by 1 when you reach 5th level (2), 11th level (3), and 17th level (4).
