You make a willing humanoid look different until the spell ends or until you use your action to dismiss it. This does not include their clothing, armor, weapons, etc. They can appear to be a different race and/or gender. Their body type and height can't be changed, so you must adopt a form that has the same basic arrangement of limbs. Their voice, mannerisms, body language remain their own and unchanged.
The changes wrought by this spell fail to hold up to physical inspection. For example, if you use this spell to add scaly skin to the illusion and someone were to feel the scales, they would feel the texture of skin behind the illusion and not the scales.
To discern that they are disguised, a creature can use its action to inspect their appearance and must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
