Break Will

Peering into the very soul of your victims, you infiltrate their mind and attempt to break them from the inside out. Choose a number of creatures equal to your spellcasting modifier that you can see within range. Each creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, each time the creature takes an action, bonus action, reaction or willingly moves before the spell ends, it takes Psychic damage equal to your spellcasting modifier (minimum of 1). If the creature can make more than one attack per action, it takes damage each time it attacks. In addition, a creatures movement speed is halved. A Wish spell ends the effect early on one creature. The spell ends early if you die, but even the caster falls unconscious, the spell persists.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the number of affected creatures increases by 2 for each spell slot above 7th.
