When you cast this spell, you drive your blade into the ground. A tether of lighting travels from your weapon to your target, bursting up from beneath them in series of arcing chains.
The target must make a dexterity saving throw or be restrained by the electric chains. The target also takes 3d10 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
While restrained by this spell, the target takes 1d10 lightning damage at the start of each of its turns. It may then make a strength saving throw against your spell save DC to attempt to escape the chains.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the initial instance of damage of the spell increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 3rd.

Posted Nov 8, 2021Currently only listed for Ranger so my players cannot see it when preparing spells. Will be available for Bards, Wizards, Sorcerers, Warlocks, and Druids.
