Chains of the Nine Hells

With nothing more than a casual gesture, long chains with impossibly sharp hooks on the end of them fly forth from the Nine Hells through small warps in reality that surround the target in all directions. Sinking deeply into the flesh of the victim, the chains remain embedded in the target, immobilizing them and causing excruciating pain until the caster ends the spell or the victim breaks free. When the spell ends by either method the chains quickly retract back to the planes of torment leaving no trace.
