A twisted, dark-red bolt is fired at a target within range. The target needs to make a Wisdom saving throw. A creature suffers 6d8 Psychic damage and may be subjected to one of the following effects below. A creature will only be subjected to one of the effects if they fail the saving throw. Succeeding the saving throw causes only half damage.

The effect is chosen at random or by rolling a d8 to determine the effect.

1. Bewitched Movement: A creature instantly moves in a random direction equal to half their movement speed. This movement is stopped early if the creature collides with something or someone.
2. Bewitched Mind: Until the end of the creature`s next turn, their allies are now viewed as their enemies, and their enemies are viewed as their allies.
3. Bewitched Sight: A creature`s sight is reduced to 15 feet. Past the 15 feet is pure and utter swirling darkness. This effect lasts until the end of the afflicted creatures next turn.
4. Bewitched Strike: A creature instantly makes one weapon attack against a random target within range. If there are no targets within range, then the afflicted creature strikes nothing.
5. Bewitched Sickness: A creature is until the end of their next round under the effect of being Poisoned.
6. Bewitched Action: At the start of the creatures turn, they must use their action to either use the Dash, Help, Disengage, Dodge, Hide or Ready. This is decided randomly or by rolling a d6.
7. Bewitched Spasm: Until the end of the creatures next turn, they are in a uncontrollable spasm that renders them unable to use their action(s) or movement.
8. Bewitched Madness: A creature gains one of the Short-Term Madness effects. The DM rolls on the table.

At Higher Level. Increases the damage dice by 1d8 for each spell slot used above 3rd level.
