You utter a word of power in attempt to take a creature's the voice away. Choose one creature that you can see within range to make a Wisdom saving throw. If the target fails the saving throw, it is unable to speak and cannot cast spells with a verbal component for the duration. The creature may still communicate through telepathy, or by the means of spells similar to message. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make a Wisdom saving throw. On a success, the spell ends.

Creatures that don’t speak through verbal means are immune to this spell.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4rd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 3rd.
