Air Slash

The caster takes a hawk feather and holds it vertically in front of themself. Calling upon the forces of Elemental Air they marshall the atmosphere into a sharp, hardened edge. With a downward sweeping florish, the blade of compressed air jets forth to strike their enemy. The afflicted creature must make a Dexterity Saving Throw based on the spell caster's spell save DC. 

On a successful save, the target takes half damage. On a fail the target takes 3d8 slashing damage. The slashing damage is considered magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances.

Note: casting this spell consumes the hawk feather.
