Vines of Greenbriar

You create a long, vine tendral covered in thorns and spikes.

The vine will streak out in a line for 60ft at your command toward a creature in range. Make a melee spell attack against the target. If the attack hits, the creature takes 1d12 piercing damage per round if grappled, and if the creature is of size Large or smaller, they are grappled and restrained on a failed DEX save.

Any creature or object within 5ft of the vine must make a dex save or be grappled and take 1d6 piercing damage per round if grappled.

At Higher Levels: If this spell is cast at 2nd level or higher add 1d12 to the target damage and 1d6 to the non-target damage per level of spell cast.
