You throw a twinkling spark towards a target in range, which then violently explodes, and blazes up around it on contact. The spark and explosion are quick and require sharp perception to dodge, so the target must make an initial Wisdom saving throw. On a failure against the initial save, the target takes 1d8+2 Fire damage, and the target then must repeat the saving throw until it succeeds on it, taking 2 Fire damage after each subsequent failure.
A target can only be affected by one instance of this spell cast by you at a time. All saves against this spell occur in one turn. If a target is brought to 0 hit points or fewer by this spell, any non-magical items in its space are liquefied or reduced to ash.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, all instances of the flat damage increase by 2 for each slot level above 2nd.
