Imbue a melee weapon you touch, cloaking it with black fire. Once per turn before this spell ends, a creature hit by this weapon suffers the weapon attack's normal effects and then an additional 1d6 fire damage. The creature hit by this weapon then makes a Constitution save, taking 1d8 Necrotic damage on a failed save, the flames extinguishing on a successful save. At the beginning of each of their turns after the first failed save, they must make another Constitution save. If the save is failed, they take another 1d8 Necrotic damage, if it is successful, the flames extinguish. The target or a creature within 5 feet of it may use an action to put out the flames, or some other effect may douse the flames (such as the target being submerged in water). Up to Three Targets can be affected by the Imbuement's flames at once, a Huge creature counting for two targets, and Gargantuan or Larger creatures count as all three.
At higher Levels: Fire damage increases for every spell level.
