You transform an appendage into vicious wyvern tail, and launch a razor sharp stinger at a target within range. The target must make a Constitution saving throw, or take 6d8 poison damage, and become poisoned for 1 minute. On a success, they take half damage and don’t get poisoned. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
