Valeros's momento

When you cast this spell, you inscribe a mystical rune upon a piece of jewelry(The material component). You then choose and cast a spell of 2nd level or lower (called the momento spell) as part of casting Valeros's momento, expending spell slots for both spells, but the momento spell does not come into effect immediately. Instead, the momento spell takes effect when a specific command word(chosen upon casting this spell) is spoken by the wearer of the jewelry as a bonus action. The command word must be a simple word or a combination of words in a language that the bearer of the jewelry knows and understands.

The momento spell takes effect immediately after the command word is spoken by the wearer of the material component for the first time, whether or not you want it to, and then Valeros' momento ends. Upon being released, the spell affects ONLY the wearer of the jewelry and cannot affect anyone else(Even if otherwise stated as part of the momento spell). Once activated if for any reason you would need to roll a concentration check to keep the momento spell active, the concentration check automatically fails and the momento spell is automatically lost. If the piece of jewelry upon which the rune is inscribed is removed from the wearer, Valeros' momento automatically ends without applying the effects of the momento spell. A person can be under the effects of only one Valeros's momento at any given time, casting it an additional time will result in dispelling the previous one.
