You touch a nonmagical deck of cards, handful of leaves or petals, or some other small collection of tiny flat objects, and imbue them with magical power. For the duration of the spell, you gain limited control over the touched objects and are able to move them with your mind. You can manipulate them in subtle ways, such as causing a card of your choice to move to the top of the deck when shuffled, or in more flashy ways such as making them dance around you in elaborate patterns.
Any effects you create with this spell must occupy a space adjacent to you, and be no larger than a 5ft square.
Additionally, you may launch one object from the collection at a target within 30ft. As an action, make a ranged spell attack against the target. If you hit, the target takes 1d8 slashing damage.
At higher levels You may launch additional objects when you attack with this spell as you level up. When you reach 5th level you may throw up to two objects, you can throw up to three at 11th level, and up to four at 17th level. The additional objects need not target the same creature.
