This spell requires preparation in the form of attuning two small items and magically attuning them to one another, forming a link through the Weave. When this spell is cast, the bearers of both items will temporarily have a deep connection in each others' minds, enabling the following effects:
- Cast each other's spells as if they knew them and had them prepared (though at the cost of their own spell slots). Spell-like abilities, such as a dragonborn's breath weapon, cannot be used in this way.
- Communicate telepathically as a free action.
- Combine their ability score bonuses for one ability check and one saving throw each. (The spell will need to be recast again for subsequent use of this benefit).
- Temporarily speak each others' languages and understand them.
The complexity of this spell draws heavily on one's affinity for the arcane, and as such this spell may only be used between wizards, sorcerers and warlocks. Clerics in the service of a deity with the Arcana domain and multiclass characters with at least 3 levels of the above classes can also benefit from this spell.
