You plant misinformation in the target's mind, causing their senses to become overstimulated almost to the point of madness. With these senses, illusions created by the caster, perceived by the target, make so little sense that they are painful to even think about.
The target gains advantage on INT (Investigation) checks to see through the caster's illusions. When a creature affected by this spells sees an image, hears a sound, smells a scent, or touches something created by an illusion spell, they must make an Intelligence saving throw against the caster's spell save dc or take 1d6 psychic damage. Additionally, if the creature succeeds on an INT(Investigation) to not be fooled by the illusion spell, they take 1d6 psychic damage. The spell ends if the target succeeds on this INT (Investigation) check.
This spell’s damage when the target fails its Intelligence save and/or succeeds on the aforementioned INT (Investigation) check increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).
