Chilling Pear

You conjure a pear or pear-like fruit, when touched by a creature other than the caster, it becomes stuck to the creature, the creature can attempt a strength saving throw to remove the pear, after an amount of time determined at casting(but not exceeding one minute) , or after the pear has been bitten into, the pear bursts in a radius of five feet, centred on the pear, each creature in the burst must make a constitution saving throw or take 1d4 cold damage (if the pear was bitten), or 1d6 cold damage (if the pear was not bitten), taking half damage on success.
