Way Marker

You harmlessly touch a surface or creature, or indicate a spatial location within reach, and a small magical speck of light appears, drifts a few inches in a direction of your choosing, disappears, and then repeats. The marker can be visible (to all creatures) or invisible, and you can change it from one state to another by using an Interact action within range. The marker lasts an hour, and it can be forcefully scrubbed or scraped off with 5 minutes of work.

If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have up to 10 markers active at a time.

The time before the marker fades and maximum markers active increase when you reach 5th level (2 Hours; 15 markers), 11th level (1 Day; 25 Markers), and 17th level (30 Days; 40 Markers).
