You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a melee attack with it against one Large or smaller creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target is cleanly cut in two (separating from the center of the torso) without being harmed. Creatures affected by this spell can be reattached.
Separated sections of the creature occupy two different spaces. While not connected to another half, the sections share damage taken. A section without the ability to move has their speed reduced to 0.
If a section of one creature is combined with the section of another creature, the upper section determines all class and player levels while the lower section determines movement speed and types. If Dispel Magic is cast on a combination of two separate creatures, the union is disconnected.
