You attempt to gain access to another creatures memory, using a word in your mind. This can be a person, place, object, or event. One creature that you can see must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the target is unconscious then they have disadvantage to the roll. If the creature is willing then no dc is save is required.
On a failed save you extract the memory in its entirety, including dialogue, and other interactions. Additionally, you can choose for the creature to forget the memory for the number of days equal to how much they failed the dc by.
Should the creature succeed however, the spell will fail, and the target will know that you tried to access their memories.
A Greater Restoration spell cast on the target restores the creature's memory.
