Charge Chains

Conductive chains rippling with electrical charge leap from your hand. As an action for the duration of the spell, you can direct them towards a creature within range. Make a melee spell attack, on a hit the target takes 1d12 lightning damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd-level or higher, the range is increased by 20 feet and damage increased by 1d12 for every two slot levels above 1st.
