This spell creates a slightly glowing, translucent wagon with no wheels. The wagon can take a shape you choose no larger than 6 ft on a side, but is always solid and generally uncomfortable to sit in. It floats 3 feet above the ground in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within range. The wagon remains for the duration, and can hold up to 2000 pounds. If more weight is placed on it, or the wagon takes damage beyond its threshold (your proficiency + spellcasting ability modifier), the spell ends, and everything on the wagon falls to the ground.
For the duration, if desired, the wagon can follow you as if a floating disc spell, or, while you are on the wagon, you can cause it to move on its own. Riding in the wagon requires concentration, and if concentration is broken while you are on it, the spell ends.
The wagon has a speed of up to 100 feet (downhill) and can travel up to 10 miles in an hour. It can move across uneven terrain, up or down slopes, or over water, but it can’t cross an elevation change of 10 feet or more. For example, the wagon can’t move across a 10-foot-deep river canyon, nor could it leave such a canyon if it was created at the bottom, unless the banks are sloped at less than a 45 degree angle. Moving long distances up a steep incline or across jagged terrain may require you to get out and walk it, depending on the wagon’s speed. Because the wagon always settles back to exactly 3 feet above the ground, it has a tendency to bounce and shake with every bump or rock on the road.
If you move more than 300 feet from the wagon, the spell ends.
At the end of the spell’s duration, the wagon settles gently to the ground and gradually fades, giving you 10 minutes to unload it.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the speed of the wagon increases by 100 feet and 10 miles per hour for every level greater than 3rd.
