Alignment Determination

You learn the alignment of a number of humanoids up to your spell-casting modifier. A mythical creature, A legendary creature, A creature with a challenge rating of 10+, a Character with a level of 12+, or someone 5 levels (3 CR) above your level, cannot have their alignment detected and notice your attempts to do so. A noticed attempt normally annoys or infuriates the other party. Neutral creatures typically become minorly hostile (some may even attack) and hostile creature that detect the attempt will typically target you first.
