Cast Out Shan

This spell forces an Insect from Shaggai to leave any victim(s) standing within a 5-foot drawn pentagram. Both the target and the caster both risk a 50% chance to lose 1 point of Constitution permanently. After the ceremony is completed, the pentagram also acts as a barrier from additional Shan intrusion for the next 24 hours. If this spell is performed in direct sunlight, any expelled Shan are destroyed by the suns rays immediately. A wisdom save of DC 20 or higher is required to maintain possession.

This spell is not class-locked. Any caster who can obtain and use the components can learn and cast this spell from either a spellbook, a teacher versed in the spell, or a deity. Most common folks who know this spell are plagued by Shan and have only this as a last resort to save their loved ones.
