You summon a friendly creature of Tiny size. During the action used to cast the spell, you may envision what the creature will be when summoned. The summoned creature cannot deal any damage, but may be commanded by the caster. The creature has the same alignment as the caster and can speak the same languages. Its speed, ability score, and other details are determined by the DM.
You and the creature can communicate via telepathy. In addition, you can see through the creature's vision while the spell is active. The creature disappears if any damage is dealt to it, ending the spell. Its memories persist between castings, meaning even if a different creature is summoned, it will remember everything from when you last cast the spell.
