Call upon the name of Cthugha, god of fire, and become surrounded by waves of weaving, glittering points of light. Each of these points leave a luminous trail and flicker white hot. These sparks are so hot that any hostile creatures attempting to occupy your standing space takes 1d4+1 points of fire damage each round. Sealed within the cloak, the caster rises a foot off of the ground and is granted 1d4+1 temporary dexterity points and an extra +10ft to their movement speed. Anybody directly attempting to touch or attack you takes 1d8 points of fire damage. Any creatures you attack in melee also take 1d8 points of fire damage. This spell lasts 1d6+1 rounds plus character level. A DC 20 Constitution saving throw is required from the attacker to only take half fire damage, a failure means the full amount of damage is taken. Most mages learn this spell as a last resort, when all other spells are exhausted. For each spell level past 1st this is cast, each attribute is added by one. 1d4+1 becomes 2d4+1, 1d8 becomes 2d8, 10ft becomes 20ft, and so on.

This spell is not class-locked. Anybody with the means of learning the components can learn and cast this spell from either a spellbook, a teacher versed in the spell, or from a deity. Common folk that learn this spell use it for protection from threats or as a means of offense, depending on the alignment of the caster.
