You speak a conjuration and one arrow(or crossbow bolt) that you have in your hand is swapped for an identical arrow from an alternate reality. it looks nearly identical to the one you just had but it emanates a kind of wrongness, as it is not quite in the place it is supposed to be.
with your action you can shoot the arrow/bolt at a target and if it strikes the target takes an additional 4 force damage, and for the purposes of resistances this arrow is magical.
at the beginning of that creatures next turn the arrow disappears and another arrow flies at them from the same direction, appearing from the space where you fired the first arrow. any creature in the line of where the first arrow flew creature must make an agility saving throw and beat a 12 or get hit by the second arrow, which strikes one creature for the same amount of piercing damage as the first arrow( minus the force damage bonus as this is the arrow that was supposed to be here, it is not magical, if it was it is no longer.) any creature with an intelligence greater than 8 that has seen you do this trick once will be expecting it in future rounds and will gain advantage on their dexterity throw.
optional silliness:
in an alternate universe a version of yourself that the up until right now has existed exactly as you have existed in almost all ways aside from being a moment late, reaches for an arrow, goes to nock it into place and the arrow disappears, wasting a turn as they fumble in confusion. maybe this doesn't seem important however from this moment onward your two universes are now different. like a cosmic ray breaking upon the shore of our atmosphere the affected change branches and splinters outward in every direction. perhaps that moment lost was a key moment and that alternate you has now died, robbed of their future by your mere cantrip. something to consider the next time an object isn't quite where you left it.
where have you been you bizarre arrow?
The spell’s force damage increases as you level and the second shot flies faster increasing the difficulty class for avoiding being hit
5th level 8 force damage and a DC of 14
11th level 12 force damage and a DC of 16
and 17th level 16 force damage and a DC of 18
