You see your targets most desperate and hated future, and metally project this image onto a t of your choice within range, wracking it with terrible pain. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 4d8 psychic damage and must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as far as its speed allows away from you an becomes frightend of you. The creature doesn’t move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and doesn’t have to move away. You take 1d4 pyschic damage if the target succeeds it's save, as the image lingers longer in your mind then intended.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each second slot level above 3st. The damage you take on a succesfull save increases every two levels above 3nd level with an additional d6.
