The Spell summons a Dust Devil, able to manifest in one of three forms to be selected at the casting:

1. Melee – The Dust Devil snatches up unfastened detritus and, spinning with speed and fury can inflict 2d4 + lvl of the caster damage to a selected target (dex saves for ½ damage) within melee range.

2. Missile – The Dust Devil snatches up detritus and can hurl it at a remote target (25 ft max distance) to inflict 1d4 + lvl of the caster damage to a selected target (dex save for ½ damage).

3. Vortex – The Dust Devil spins in either a Northern or Southern hemisphere spin— Northern will draw all creatures within 15 ft who fail their strength saving throws into the vortex and pummel them for 1d6 damage per round and they are restrained (new save allowed at the beginning of each round); Southern will push those who fail a strength saving throw away from the center of the Dust Devil (up to 15 ft) and inflict 1d4 bludgeoning damage.

As a bonus action, you can move the dust devil up to 30 feet in any direction. If the dust devil moves over sand, dust, loose dirt, or small gravel, it sucks up the material and forms a 10-foot-radius cloud of debris around itself that lasts until the start of your next turn. The cloud heavily obscures its area.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1 die for each slot level above 2nd.
