Arcane Adaption

When another spellcaster within range drops a concentration spell that you are aware of, you may attempt to capture the essence of the dropped spell and adapt its energies to your control.  you must know a spell of the same school as the dropped spell and have a spell slot available of the same level or else this spell fails.  On casting this spell, in addition to the spell slot for Arcane Adaption, you burn a spell slot of the same level as the dropped spell.  You are now concentrating on the spell as if you had cast it.  Only the concentration effects are applied but you may choose targets if applicable.  The duration of your casting is 18 seconds.  Arcane Adaptation cannot be used to prolong the effects of a previous casting of Arcane Adaptation.
