Bracing Sacrifice

This spell turns you into a wall, protecting those behind you. As a reaction to being targeted by an area of effect spell you can cast this spell. You automatically fail your saving throw against the triggering spell but you stop the triggering spell from affecting anyone behind you. Draw a line between the origin point of the area of effect and each creature in the spell’s area of effect; if the line between the point of origin and a creature passes through you that creature is not affected by the spell.
