Prerequisite: Must know Vicious Mockery
You create a large, muscular monkey made out of the magic of your insults. It locks onto any target you command it to and attacks them. On your turn, you can choose to use the monkey to attack. The target must succeed on a Dex Save against the user's Spell Save DC or be instantly killed by the monkey.
The monkey understands common. Once the spell duration is over, or someone has succeeded a DC 20 Persuasion check, the monkey will instead target the user. The user can use up their reaction to dismiss the spell, as long as their hands and mouth are not restrained/covered. If the user's reaction has already been used, or they cannot use their hands or voice, the user must also make a DC 20 Persuasion check (with disadvantage if the mouth is covered) to dismiss the monkey. If it fails, then the monkey kills the user and disappears.
The monkey cannot take damage. Instead, all damage that the monkey takes is reflected onto the user. The monkey has an AC of half that of the user (rounded down) and shares all its abilities with its user, however it has an additional point in Strength and one less point in Intelligence.
The user cannot dismiss the spell until the monkey starts attacking them.
