You place gold pieces in front of you and call to your god for a blessing, channeling holy power into the gold, transforming them into useable materials for your spells. You may use up to 1500 gold pieces to cast this spell. After the completion of the spell, two-thirds of the gold transforms into equal value of diamonds or diamond dust. For example, if you used 1500gp, you would transform them into 1000gp worth of diamond or diamond dust. The diamonds can be of any size, and you can create as many as you want as long as the total value of the diamonds and dust does not exceed the gold cost.
Casting at higher levels: If you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, you may increase the maximum gold you can use by 500, up to a maximum of 5000 at 9th level.
