The spell captures incoming spells, removing the effect on you. You have immunity to the triggering damage type until the caster reaches 0 hit points. If you cast this spell again, the first immunity is removed and fired outwards in a straight line, dealing 1d4 damage of that type. If a spell higher or of 6th level triggers this spell, the effect will be removed by half but will deal 1d8 damage, and grant only resistance to that type.
