You turn an ounce of ink into a magical black arrow. Chose a target within 200ft of you and make a ranged spell attack. Upon a successful hit the target will take 10d8 piecing damage and becomes blinded. The target can become unblinded by using water to remove the ink from their eyes or by taking a long rest. The ink can only be removed through one of these 2 methods due to its magic dark properties. If you miss your intended target the arrow will fly for and additional 10ft then explode and cover a 30ft radius area in black ink. Everyone within the area of the explosion must make a dexterity saving throw. Upon a failed saving throw black ink gets stuck in their eyes and they are blinded until they can remove the ink with water or take a long rest.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 6rd.
