A fiend, aberration, or undead creature occupying a point you choose within range must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or become engulfed in a violent, rending, luminous aura that grows with intensity moment by moment. While under the effect of the aura, the creature has disadvantage on saving throws against spells and emits bright light in a 10-foot radius.

At the end of each of their turns a creature must repeat the Charisma saving throw and on a failure, the aura intensified. On their second failure, they lose all resistances and any immunities they possess become resistances. On their third failure, any remaining resistances they still possess are lost and they suffer 3d6 radiant damage. On a successful save, the aura dissipates and the spell ends.
