Alter Text

You touch a nonmagical piece of paper with writing on it. The writing can be anything as long as it can be used to write information on paper (charcoal, ink, graphite, etc.). After the spells ends you alter the writing on the page into whatever you desire. You can use this spell to mimic the original writer's handwriting as long as either the piece of paper you cast the spell on is written in the handwriting you wish to mimic or if there is another piece of writing that you can clearly read near you while you are casting the spell. You change everything else about the writing though, such as the information conveyed, the tone of the writing, size of the font, or even signatures as long as it fits the page. If there are pictures on the page, you can remove the picture in favor of more space for writing. If you are proficient in artist's tools however you can change the picture to whatever you desire. The writing cannot be extended to additional pages. You can manipulate the writing of more than one page though. For each additional page you wish to alter, add an additional minute to the casting time. You can only use this spell to alter the text of a page into a language you understand. You can choose a page that has writing of a language you don't understand and alter the text into a writing you do understand. At the end of the spell, the ink loses its magic and is nonmagical for the purposes of effects such as antimagic and magic detection. If you mimicked a creature's handwriting with this spell, all checks to see if the writing is a forgery automatically fail. However, forms of divination such as the commune or contact other plane spells can reveal that the writing has been altered by this spell. Any nonmagical ways of determining if the text has been altered fail.
