You describe an extraplanar location, such as those created by Rope Trick, Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion or Demi-plane and use the blade to carve through the boundaries between planes. The creator of the demi-plane makes an Intelligence saving throw against the caster's spell DC. On a failure, a rupture is made between the demi-plane and the location of casting.

The spell is based on concepts of Sympathy, similarly to Scrying and Teleportation - the more you understand your target, the better chance of breaching the demi-plane.
